This typeface is inspired by the vibrant visual language of Indian trucks — moving artworks adorned with hand-painted typography, intricate patterns, bold colours, and cultural symbols. I drew from the rich aesthetics of truck art: decorative borders, floral motifs, geometric patterns, and playful, expressive letterforms. The colour palette reflects the lively hues found across India’s visual landscape — deep reds, bright yellows, rich greens, and electric blues — symbolising energy, prosperity, and protection.
This project captures the handcrafted, imperfect charm of Indian truck and street art, transforming it into a contemporary typeface that celebrates tradition, craftsmanship, and cultural storytelling. It’s a tribute to the artistry seen daily on roads, markets, and vehicles across India.
