This self-directed project stems from my interest in the concept of the divine feminine, which I began exploring during my second year. I was particularly drawn to how this energy manifests within Indian culture, embodied powerfully in the figure of Kali, the Hindu goddess of time, destruction, creation, and transformation. Kali represents the raw, untamed, fearless force of feminine energy — often misunderstood but deeply revered for her role in dissolving ego and empowering transformation.
Inspired by her symbolism, I designed a custom font based on the word “KALI”, with each letter paired with a bold illustration representing the fearless, unapologetic essence of divine femininity. Each poster focuses on a single letter, visually supported by goddess-like figures that celebrate female strength, rebellion, and protection. The artistic direction embraces a raw, striking style — intentionally loud, fearless, and powerful.
This project merges typography, illustration, and cultural storytelling, aiming to reclaim and highlight how divine femininity is not just softness, but also strength, fire, and radical empowerment.
